Who Is This Gal?


Molle Dorst is a caffeine fueled punk who is here to share her transition from a creatively stifled geek to supreme leader of the world. She is a political theorist with the Communist Party of Canada, a former Educational Policy Adviser and NDP campaign runner who once chained herself to a tree to save the Jefferson Forest from being paved over. Born and raised in good Ol'Canada she became a master of the canoe, both a tripper and racing coach; a rower and rock climber. Molle is the ultimate sap who you will probably find hidden in her archive of movies, buying accessories, drinking coffee (and) or singing along to David Bowie.

When it comes down to entertaining, Molle knows how it should all go down. The BBQ Pit Princess is also the former Curator and Art Director for the Alternative Tentacle shows in Toronto, an accomplished painter and designer with an obsession with pink. The owner of Goggers Clothing, Mahavira Design, Spot Buttons and Printed Press she is never without work to do. Talking about work, Molle is a get-up-on-stage-and-pour-your-heart-out poet, the author of 3 books (and another on the go), the world's cutest ghostwriter, screen writer and open mic host. Project 365

So much to do, so little time. This year Molle is Chair of the Women's Empowerment Committee, and thus is producing this year's Vagina Monologues. She can't wait to hire an amazing committee.. check out the ASUS website for an application. WEC will also be at this year's Sidewalk Sale, and Club's Night!

Of course, there is the usual stuff. Molle is part of the amazing Layout and Graphics teams at Goldenwords. She is also a designer at P&CC on campus here at Queen's.

Keep your eyes open for information on MASCARA CABERET, which Molle's alter-ego Billie Rector is producing alongside his close friend Alex. If it's humanly possible, this year will be bigger and better than last year. <3
